Both appointees bring over 15 years of experience and performance excellence to their respective roles.

Alex Gregory – director of sales & marketing
As director of sales & marketing, Gregory is responsible for developing and maximizing strategies to provide optimum revenue streams for all of the resort’s departments. In his role, Gregory provides training, support and guidance to members of the resort sales team to boost individual talents and booking potential.
Gregory joined Montage Palmetto Bluff from The Omni Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia, where he was director of sales & marketing. Preceding his time in Virginia, Gregory has heldÊdirector of sales & marketing positions at a number of luxury resorts, including Sea Island Resort in Georgia; Royal Palms Resort & Spa in Arizona; and Wild Dunes Resort in South Carolina.
Gregory earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia.
Ben Campsey – director of finance
In his role as director of finance, Campsey oversees and directs all financial operations for Montage Palmetto Bluff. Campsey is responsible for developing short- and long-term reports, including financial forecasts, checkbook accounting and payroll variance. He also maintains accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting and employee relations
Campsey joined Montage Palmetto Bluff from Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania, where he was chief financial officer. Previously, Campsey was the executive financial officer and executive vice president at Hilton Head Health in South Carolina; director of finance at The Umstead Hotel and Spa in North Carolina; and served various roles at Canyon Ranch Health Resorts in the company’s finance department.
Campsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from the University of Arizona and a Master of Business Administration from Eller School of Management, University of Arizona. Campsey is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive.
