Darlene Adams has been appointed Director of Sales & Strategy at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. Ms Adams brings with her extensive experience in luxury hospitality, including serving on the opening team for The Peninsula Beverly Hills in 1991 as Director of Sales.
She left in 1994 to become Director of Sales & Marketing for The Beverly Hills Hotel, where, in 2008, she was promoted to Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, leading sales for The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air as a part of the Dorchester Collection. In 2014, she joined Aman Resorts in a regional capacity before leaving to start her own marketing and branding firm.
Originally from Southern California, Ms Adams graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in communication. She has also spent time at Stanford University and Cornell University studying Business Management and Sales & Marketing respectively.
