Chebeague Island Inn, located in scenic Casco Bay off the coast of Portland, Maine, has announced the appointment of Jason Schlosser as General Manager effective immediately. With experience drawn from close to two decades in the hospitality industry, Mr Schlosser oversees all operations at the Inn including sales & marketing, food & beverage, accommodations, onsite activities, and assuring a pleasant and memorable stay for guests and group clientele.

Bringing a wealth of experience, Mr Schlosser arrived at Chebeague Island Inn from TurnKey Vacation Rentals where he oversaw local markets including Kennebunkport, Portland and Sugarloaf. Previously, Mr Schlosser launched the Maine market for the dynamic vacation rental company Vacasa; managed Newagen Seaside Inn in Southport where he led a property-wide renovation; and was Director of Sales for Spruce Point Inn Resort & Spa in Boothbay Harbor. Mr Schlosser got his start in hospitality at Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN.
A native of Akron, Ohio, who has called Maine home since 1996, Mr Schlosser resides in Boothbay Harbor with his wife and two children. He was originally inspired to his profession by his grandfather, a successful entrepreneur and inventor who studied hotel management while designing and distributing golf-related sporting goods. One grandfather-grandson conversation about the rewards of hospitality was all it took for Mr Schlosser to seek success in the industry.Ê
