Christina Spykerman appointed Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific at Worldhotels in Singapore

Christina SpykermanFormerly the Regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing Asia Pacific, Christina Spykerman’s contributions and aptitude have been invaluable to the organisation ever since she joined WorldhotelsÊin 2005 as Senior Director of Sales, Asia Pacific.

She was instrumental in growing the Asia Pacific sales team from the initial five sales offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo to the current eight, with the addition of Beijing, India and Melbourne. On top of her sales-related responsibilities, Ms Spykerman has also played an integral role in championing all marketing and communications effort over the years.

Well-respected and highly valued in her field, Ms Spykerman is also an avid believer of nurturing her team from the get-go, providing opportunities and being an inspiration to her team.

Some of Ms Spykerman’s past accolades include being the Regional Director of Marketing at OAG Worldwide – where she was responsible for all sales, marketing, and revenue budgets for Asia Pacific; being the Corporate Director of Marketing at Millennium and Copthorne International Ltd. – where she championed all public relations and marketing services, along with managing the group’s loyalty programme; and serving as the Deputy General Manager of Star Cruises Ð where she spearheaded various marketing and promotional strategies, and managed all aspects of operations and sales at trade and consumer fairs.

In addition to her newly found executive responsibilities, Ms Spykerman will still be heading and deeply involved in all aspects of Sales and Marketing in Asia Pacific.
