The Settlement Hotel, Melaka is pleased to announce the appointment of Saminder Kaur as Head of Sales.
An iconic sales figure in the hospitality industry, Sam as she is affectionately known in the industry, comes onboard with more than 37 years of experience. Her illustrious portfolio included various senior positions with reputable 5-star hotels in Malaysia such as The Melia, Kuala Lumpur, The Regency, Gouman and The Avillion Village Resort. Her last position was that of Director of Sales with The Avillion Village Resort, Port Dickson.
She has a wealth of experience in Sales, Marketing and Public Relations, which she has contributed positively throughout her career to the local hospitality industry.
With this appointment, Sam will leverage on her extensive knowledge and networking to propel The Settlement Hotel, Melaka to be the leading boutique hotel in Melaka; most importantly to strategise sales campaigns and to drive revenue both in the overall room and catering sales as well as F & B within the local market sphere and also internationally.
