Marcus Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of David DiSalvo as area director of sales and marketing for the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark and Heidel House Resort & Spa. In his new role, DiSalvo is responsible for overseeing all communications, marketing and group sales initiatives to continue to attract leisure, business and group travelers to all three properties. The AAA Four-Diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is owned and managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, which also manages the family-favorite Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark and the Heidel House Resort & Spa, a premier lakefront getaway.

An established leader in the hospitality industry, DiSalvo brings more than 35 years of experience to his new role, including past management positions around the country with Omni Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and Millennium Hotels. Most recently, DiSalvo was the director of resort sales at The Grove Park Inn, an Omni Hotel & Resort, in North Carolina. DiSalvo held a similar position at Amelia Island Resort, Omni Jacksonville Hotel and Hyatt Regency Tampa, all in Florida. In each of these roles, DiSalvo has demonstrated success in growing revenue, as well as meeting and convention sales, in addition to developing close partnerships within the local community.
