Michael Campbell appointed as new Chef de Cuisine with The Loft at Montage Laguna Beach

Chef de Cuisine Michael CampbellMontage Laguna Beach has announced the appointment of Michael Campbell as Chef de Cuisine of The Loft restaurant. Having worked in restaurants around the world, Campbell will use his culinary expertise to oversee all operations of the restaurant, including leading the restaurant’s team of chefs, sommeliers, servers and fromagiers.

With over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, Campbell’s passion for cuisine has led him to work in restaurants throughout Europe and California, most recently serving as Executive Chef at Pueblo in Costa Mesa, Calif. where he oversaw the restaurant’s opening. Prior to Pueblo, Campbell worked for the Mina Group in San Francisco as the Executive Sous Chef at RN74, in France at Numero 75 and Barcelona at Arrel Del Born. Campbell began his career at Wildwood Restaurant in Portland, under the leadership of Chef Cory Schreiber, a true mentor in the Pacific Northwest culinary scene.
