Edgar Kano has been named Executive Chef of Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora.

Kano, a 23-year industry veteran, has worked in Four Seasons hotels around the world, and makes the move to French Polynesia from Four Seasons Hotel Mexico, DF, where he most recently served as Executive Chef.  Prior to that, he served as Executive Sous Chef at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas; as well as appointments at Four Seasons hotels around the world including Punta Mita, Mexico; Berlin, Germany; Singapore; and Newport Beach.

“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Kano to our exemplary team here in Bora Bora,” says Michel Volk, General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora. “He possesses a wealth of experience from around the world, and a culinary flair our guests will surely appreciate.”

A native of Mexico City, Chef Kano earned his culinary degree from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, and is fluent in English, Spanish and German. An avid fisherman, he makes every effort to spend his downtime on the water (an easy goal in French Polynesia) and exploring the culinary world through travel. Chef Kano lives in Bora Bora with his wife Monica and two young children.
