Benchmark Hospitality International, a U.S.-based hospitality management company, has appointed Thomas Faust vice president, sales. In this role, Mr. Faust will oversee the company’s global sales initiatives, as well as Benchmark’s Personal Luxury- and Benchmark Resorts-properties throughout Florida, in San Antonio and on the Caribbean island of Curacao. Ted Davis, Benchmark Hospitality’s chief sales & marketing officer, made the announcement.

Tom Faust was previously vice president, sales for Omni Hotels & Resorts where he created and directed highly productive revenue-generating strategies across the entire luxury brand. During his tenure, the company experienced some of its greatest successes, including 2015, the most successful year in its history as measured by sales production and revenues. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Faust was vice president, sales & marketing for the Anatole Hotel in Dallas, serving under the Hilton and Wyndham brands. Earlier in this career he held positions in sales, marketing and operations for Starwood Hotels within the Sheraton brand in locations across the United States.
Mr. Faust serves on the Board of Directors for the MPI Foundation and has served on the ATT Cotton Bowl Board, the Hotel/Motel Association of Greater Dallas Board and the Executive Board of Directors for the Dallas Conventions & Visitors Bureau. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri where he earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. Mr. Faust and his wife, Michele, are relocating to The Woodlands.
