Veteran Four Seasons executive Charlie Parker is trading in his tweeds for a Savile Row suit as he makes the move from Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire to the new Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square.

“Everyone who knows Charlie knows he is a history lover, so when the opportunity arose to open this magnificent heritage property in England, he was the very best choice for General Manager,” notes Christian Clerc, President, Hotel Operations – Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Charlie is an accomplished hotelier who will lead the team in opening this special hotel and bringing its past – and future – to life for Four Seasons guests.”

Celebrating his 20th anniversary with Four Seasons, Scottish-born Parker began his hospitality career directly out of hotel school at the legendary Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, and then spent time in the US before eventually setting sail aboard Four Seasons Explorer in the Maldives.  Following two assignments in the Middle East, he returned to England at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, a country estate with historic significance dating back to William the Conqueror.

“There’s something so special about taking up the reigns of history and writing a new chapter. The architectural presence and historic elements of this building offer a unique local character as a foundation for a truly world class experience,” says Parker. “Although it will be our newest hotel in the London area, I think that our guests will feel very much at home as soon as they walk through the front door.”

Indeed, the Hotel’s intimate size – just 100 rooms plus 41 Private Residences – promises  to appeal to business and leisure travellers, as well as local guests who will dine at its two destination restaurants – one featuring French cuisine and the other Asian – relax at its spa, and perhaps celebrate special occasions in its grand ballroom. Entered through a pillared antechamber, the heart of the former Port of London Authority headquarters is its signature rotunda – beautifully restored as part of the modern conversion to a hotel and residences.

Located near the Tower of London, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square is within a thirty-minute drive of London City Airport, and is just twenty minutes from both the West End and London’s second financial district of Canary Wharf.  Anticipated opening is in late 2016.
