Ben Martin-Henry appointed Research Manager, Hotels at CBRE

Ben Martin-Henry appointed as Research ManagerCBRE has appointed Ben Martin-Henry as Research Manager, Hotels in a move to further support clients with detailed research and analysis of the hotel, pub and motel sectors.

Mr Martin-Henry joins CBRE after eight years with MSCI Inc, a leading provider of investment decision support tools worldwide.

He held a variety of roles with MSCI in both the UK and Australia and was most recently a Senior Associate of the firm with responsibility for its flagship index product – the IPD Australia Commercial Property Index.

CBRE Hotels Senior Director, Rob Cross, said; “We are delighted to have someone of Ben’s calibre on board, given his wealth of experience in the research sector, both locally and abroad. His appointment will allow us to produce thought provoking and insightful research which will be directly tailored to the needs of our clients.”

Mr Cross added that this would encompass full service hotels as well as the pub and motel sectors – areas where there had traditionally been limited research and analysis.

“This will be a major differentiator for CBRE and something the market has wanted to see for some time, given the investor activity and interest in these sectors,” Mr Cross said.
