The Unique Collection of Hotels and Resorts, a Thai-based hotel management company, has announced the appointment of Monika Gassem as Director of Sales and Marketing of The Unique Collection of Hotels & Resorts. Monika’s appointment is effective 1 February 2016.
Monika Gassem, who is half German and Polish, graduated from Julius-Leber Schule, Germany where she was well trained in every aspect of a tour operator business. She comes to The Unique Collection of Hotels and Resorts with over 11 years of considerable experience in the tourism and hospitality industry in both international and Thailand as well as a successful tenure as Director of Sales and Marketing at Epikurean Hotels & Lifestyle Thailand which was her most recent position before joining the Unique Collection.
Monika has also worked for Management Forum Starnberg as Conference Manager & Manager for Sponsoring & Exhibitions, Herget Representation & Networking as Sales & Marketing Manager, Awayfromitall GmbH & Co.KG as Key account Manager, Go Vacation Thailand as Customer Service and Relations Manager and DERTOUR GmbH & Co.KG as Product Coordinator & Catalogue Manager DERTOUR Asia/China.
