Nira Alpina is delighted to announce the appointment of Claudia Pronk as General Manager, who has recently joined the design property in the Engadin region of the Swiss Alps.
A results driven global hospitality leader, Claudia brings with her extensive experience from within the hospitality industry, from business hotels to luxury resorts. She has also successfully overseen both the general management of established hotel brands as well as several prolific hotel launches which include, The Grand Mauritian, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Mauritius and Le Méridien Hotel Des Indes, The Hague, the Netherlands.
Prior to joining Nira Alpina, Claudia held the position of General Manager at the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Resort & Spa, during which she supervised the hotel’s successful rebrand. Previously she held the position of cluster General Manager across Anantara luxury hotels in the Maldives.
After 24 years of dedicated service to the hospitality industry Claudia fulfilled her ambition of undertaking an MBA, specializing in International Business. Following the completion of her MBA at the University of Liverpool in October 2015, Claudia joined the team as General Manager at Nira Alpina.

I’m also keen to put my recently acquired MBA into practice by further driving sales and exceeding the overall guest experience.”
