Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa and King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton have welcomed Elias J. Moukarzel, in the capacity of General Manager late October of 2015.

Elias J. Moukarzel brings with him a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry. After receiving his Hospitality Management Higher National Degree and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Hotel Management from “Ecole Hôtelière de Toulouse”, France and “Ecole de Savignac”, France respectively, Moukarzel started his career in Food and Beverage and progressed to take managerial positions in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon.

Elias moved to Jordan to manage the renowned King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton and the soon to open Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa, following his appointment as General Manager at Hilton Capital Grand Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

“This is an exciting move for me and I am delighted to come back to Jordan. I consider Jordan my second home, as I have previously lived and worked in the Dead Sea,” said Elias J. Moukarzel. “I am honored to join and lead a great team full of talents. Our main objective is to build on the success of the convention center and open the first Hilton-branded hotel in Jordan; Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa. We look forward to creating many memorable experiences for our guests.”

Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa is projected to open in 2016 and will offer 285 rooms, fully equipped with modern technology and amenities. The resort also features state-of-the-art facilities and introduces, for the first time in the Levant area, the global spa experience eforea: spa at Hilton.
