Noble House Hotels & Resorts, a collection of luxury hotels and resorts, announces the appointment of Dragan Savin as the new General Manager for OCEAN2000 and O2K Lounge at Pelican Grand Beach Resort – located just steps from the Atlantic in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. In this role, Savin will oversee all food and beverage operations.

“Savin’s extensive background within the food and beverage industry, coupled with his depth of knowledge for the South Florida marketplace and competitive landscape, make him well suited for this position” said Elizabeth Grillos, Vice President of Marketing with Noble House Hotels & Resorts. “We are thrilled to begin working hand-in-hand with Mr. Savin to continue enhancing the guest experience at OCEAN2000 and O2K Lounge.”

Savin brings more than 16+ years of industry experience to Pelican Grand Beach Resort. Since beginning his career in 1999, Savin has served at multiple notable hotels — from Hilton Miami Downtown, Hotel Astor and The Betsy Hotel, all based in Miami, to the Elysee Hotel in New York City and Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort and Spa in Nassau, Bahamas. Savin also touts quality industry insight having spent time as General Manager of KNR Hospitality Group in Miami Beach, as well as General Manager of Operations for Coconut Grove Sailing Club, Miami. However, Savin joins Pelican Grand most recently from Via Verdi in Miami as the Director of Operations, where he oversaw all aspects of operations for the classic Northern Italian restaurant.

Adorning 500 feet of Fort Lauderdale’s pristine beachfront, Pelican Grand Beach Resort — fresh off of a multi-million dollar expansion — couples Old Florida grandeur with seaside elegance to offer a coastal-chic waterfront retreat. From watching stunning sunrises on private balconies and indulging in culinary creations at OCEAN2000 Restaurant & Lounge, to rejuvenating at the all new PURE Spa and floating down Fort Lauderdale’s only lazy river, guests are engulfed by the unrivaled location of this laidback luxe resort set amongst the soothing sights and sounds of the Atlantic Ocean.
