Nour Arjaan by Rotana has appointed Mubarak Ali as its new Chef de Partie.
The talented young chef always had an idea he would become a pastry chef and through sheer hard work he was able to follow his heart – and his stomach – to continue to do what he loves best and bring as much joy as he can to people through his wonderful creations.
“When I was in school I was always so excited when I got the chance to eat pastries, cakes and sweets. They really made me so happy and that is why I always planned to become a pastry chef. In addition to bringing happiness to people, I believe that when people enter a pastry shop they should be fascinated by the pastries offered and it should make them think back to their childhood”.
Having first entered the culinary scene as a baker in Karachi, Pakistan, Ali came to Dubai in 2010 when he joined the Rotana family. He is really proud to have come so far and is looking forward to his new adventure at Nour Arjaan. Believing that passion and practice are two key driving factors he is always open to new ideas and loves using his imagination when it comes to his work. “I’m looking forward to continue learning. I feel like I have grown and learned a lot recently, but there’s so much I still want to learn and experience. I believe there is a connection between living and learning: if we fail to learn, we aren’t truly living. Therefore, I want to keep learning and challenging myself whenever possible” concludes Ali.
