Eleni Tsolakou has joined Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana as its new General Manager, with more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry having worked in Africa, Greece, Indonesia and the Middle East. She has a proven track of leading complex hotels at both development and opening stages.
Tsolakou joined Rotana Hotels and Resorts in March 2011 as the Executive Assistant Manager in Yas Island Rotana and Centro Yas Island. She comes from Greece having studied Hospitality Management at the Sheffield Hallam University in United Kingdom. Prior to her new appointment, she held the GM position in the Centro Barsha by Rotana, Dubai.

Tsolakou brings extensive international and multi-cultural experience, an in-depth knowledge within hotel operation, cost-cutting and energy saving projects, high quality assurance scores and innovative approaches to staff trainings and development. Also, she supported many CSR activities and collaborated with the biggest non-profit organizations in the country. She inspires her team to excel on a daily basis and ensures an unrivalled guest experience.
During her long hospitality career and after spending three years in Dubai, Ms. Eleni Tsolakou was presented by many prestigious Hotel Awards as Middle East Hotel Awards for the Best Budget Hotel 2015, Traveler’s Choice Award from TripAdvisor for three consecutive years since 2013 and an Award of Excellence from Booking.com in 2014 and 2015. Also, she has received the Rotana Award Hotel Achiever in the year 2014 and Best Hotel of the Year in 2013 by Rotana, for her outstanding contribution to hotel’s performance.
