Brian Waldman new Senior Vice President of Investments at Peachtree Hotel Group

Peachtree Hotel GroupPeachtree Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Brian Waldman as senior vice president of investments. In his new role, Waldman will lead the company’s hotel real estate investment and asset management programs. Affluent in the real estate and hospitality market, Waldman brings a strategic advantage that will grow Peachtree Hotel Group’s acquisitions.

Waldman brings with him 15 years of U.S. and international hospitality industry experience encompassing a broad range of asset and portfolio types ranging from luxury hotels and resorts to limited, select-service and extended-stay properties. Prior to joining Peachtree, he was managing director and head of Capital Markets for Beacon Hospitality Partners where he oversaw hospitality transactions with an aggregate asset value exceeding $8 billion. During his career, Waldman also held executive positions for prestigious groups such as DTZ Hospitality Group, The Mumford Company, InterContinental Hotels Group, and Arthur Andersen Hospitality Group. He received a dual Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Real Estate from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration.

Peachtree’s current portfolio is comprised of 63 hotel assets totaling 6,850 rooms, including 30 real estate assets and 33 notes.
