Chris Silcock named Hilton Worldwide Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer

Hilton Worldwide has announced that Chris Silcock will become executive vice president and Chief Commercial Officer for the company, based at its global headquarters in McLean, VA. Silcock has nearly 20 years of experience with Hilton, most recently serving as Head of Sales and Revenue Management.

In his new role, Silcock will lead the company’s global commercial team, including sales, revenue management, regional marketing and eCommerce, and Hilton reservations and customer care. He will report directly to Christopher J. Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton Worldwide, and will join the company’s Executive Committee.

“Chris has a deep history with our company and unparalleled insights into the commercial aspects of our business,” said Nassetta. “Over the years Chris has taken on a number of important and challenging roles with Hilton and in every instance he has delivered exceptional value to our organization. Under his leadership, we will further integrate our commercial engines to deliver maximum value to our guests and owners around the world.”

As Head of Sales and Revenue Management, Silcock drove performance by building a world-class team and deploying market-leading global sales and revenue management capabilities. Prior to this role, he served as Head of Revenue Management and Online and Regional Marketing; and as vice president of Revenue Management. He has also held a number of regional revenue and project roles across the business, as well as several positions at the company’s properties. Silcock began his career with Hilton as a catering and banquet waiter at Hilton Watford.

In addition to his time at Hilton, Silcock worked in a consulting capacity with several hospitality companies, including large international chains, as well as smaller operators and independent hotels across Europe. Silcock holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Computer Studies from University of Essex and studied music prior to his hospitality career.
