Vantage Hospitality’s Upscale Brands development team continues to expand with the addition of Natalie Stone, who will serve as the new Regional Vice President of Development for the central region of the U.S. Stone will be responsible for the growth of Vantage’s midscale to upscale offerings of Lexington by Vantage and Jameson Inn in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Vantage Hospitality, Stone was the owner of Grand Hospitality Consultants, a private hospitality consulting firm that specialized in assessing and improving a hotel’s performance. In just her first year of business, she helped her portfolio of hotels increase their revenue by more than 21 percent and improve guest satisfaction scores by 34 percent. These clients included properties from Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood and IHG, and many independent hotels, resorts and boutiques.
“I really enjoy working one-on-one with a hotel and exploring ways to boost their revenue and bottom line. It’s never just one component that makes or breaks success; it’s having the right revenue management, the right marketing, the right distribution and the right amenities and guest services all working together that creates long-term success. Vantage is the only hotel company I have found to have all of these resources plus the fairest fees in the industry,” said Stone.
With an extensive background in marketing and sales, Stone also served as a Regional Director of Sales for Extended Stay Hotels throughout Colorado and Oklahoma, where she increased her accounts by 62 percent.
“Natalie is one of the hardest-working people I know,” said Mark Williams, Group President of Vantage’s Upscale Brands. “She has the drive and the experience to make a big difference throughout her region and she’s definitely the right person to help us expand our brands.”
