The team at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai has announced the promotion of its General Manager Fredrik Blomqvist.
With many years of luxury hotel experience across the globe, Fredrik was previously Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai. Taking on the role of General Manager marks his next chapter in an extensive career with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
A native of Sweden, Fredrik joined Four Seasons as Food and Beverage Director at the former Four Seasons Hotel Dublin in 2006 and quickly earned a promotion to Hotel Manager at the former Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. After two years in Pennsylvania, Fredrik’s spirit of wanderlust took him to China to join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou. The extended pre-opening in Guangzhou allowed Fredrik the opportunity to take on two temporary assignments as acting Resort Manager in Chiang Mai and again acting Hotel Manager in Jakarta. Since February 2012, he has been the Hotel Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.
