Carlos Malliaroudakis has been brought in to head the hospitality team as General Manager of Al Ain Rotana hotel.
Bringing a wealth of experience to his role, Carlos is responsible for overseeing the Al Ain Rotana’s strategic direction, consolidating its position as a leading hospitality destination within the emirate and position the property as a major attraction within the city. With his appointment, he will lead the development of new projects and services to enhance the customer experience.
Carlos has joined Al Ain Rotana following an extensive background with 25 years of experience in the hospitality field throughout Greece, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE. He spent 15 years with Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG), where he progressed through a number of senior managerial roles and responsibilities to his most recent position as Area General Manager for Kuwait.
His achievements over the years saw him honored with the title of General Manager of the Year during 2009 for InterContinental Hotels Group Europe, Middle East & Africa. His commitment and dedication to ensuring the very highest of standards rewarded the hotels he managed with different international awards.
