Sami Nasser, Senior Vice President, Operations, MEAI, Fairmont Raffles Hotels International (FRHI), has announced the promotion of Frank Naboulsi as Regional Vice President, Egypt and General Manager, Fairmont Nile City. Based in Cairo, Naboulsi will carry out the responsibilities of Regional Vice President, overseeing all new properties in Egypt in addition to his responsibility for the overall operations, performance and strategic direction for Fairmont Nile City.
Naboulsi brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to this position with over 20 years of experience at FRHI. Prior to his current post at Fairmont Nile City, Cairo, Frank held three General Manager positions including The Fairmont Dallas, Texas, U.S.A., The Fairmont Palliser, Calgary, and Delta Calgary Airport Hotel, Alberta, Canada. He also previously served as a Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Fairmont in Alberta, Canada with responsibility of seven hotels and two regional offices. He held several Sales & Marketing positions at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Westin Hotel, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Naboulsi received numerous awards including “WHERE Dallas” Magazine’s Silver Plume Award for “General Manager of the Year” in 2003, “Canadian Pacific Hotel Eagle” Award for Outstanding Leadership in 1991, Westin Hotels “Sales Manager of the Year” in 1987, and Scholarship for Outstanding Achievement by Westin Hotels in 1980.
