Yarlin Faurer new Spa Director at Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa

Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Yarlin Faurer as Spa Director. A well-rounded hospitality professional with more than 15 years of management experience in the hospitality and wellness fields, from guest services to spa operations, Faurer will oversee all aspects of the property’s full-service Hibiscus Spa. Faurer’s responsibilities will include marketing, management and enhancement of the spa’s comprehensive treatment menu.

Faurer arrives at Westin Grand Cayman from Alaya Spa at The Bonaventure Resort in Weston, Florida, where she spent more than five years. During her time at the property, she advanced from her initial position as a Massage Therapist and was elevated to Spa Manager. Concurrently, Faurer honed her instructional skills as an Instructor for various skincare programs at Educating Hands, School of Massage and Skincare in Miami. Faurer also held a position as Spa Supervisor at Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, where she was responsible for training massage therapists and estheticians. Additionally, she held the position of Director of Spa Operations at The Don CeSar Beach Resort, a Loews Hotel in St. Pete Beach and was a Spa Sales Coordinator at The Diplomat Country Club & Spa, a Starwood Luxury Collection property in Hallandale Beach.

In addition to Faurer’s spa experience, she has held a variety of hospitality positions and began her career with Marriot International. Faurer started as Concierge at Harbor Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, then as Events/Catering Manager at Atlanta Marriott Norcross. She later served as Director of Sales at Courtyard by Marriott in Weston and as a seasonal Guest Services Manager at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa in Orlando.

Faurer is licensed as an Esthetician and as a Massage Therapist. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Florida International University in Miami.
