Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Jeffrey Freund, senior vice president, Midscale Brands, Americas reporting to Javier Rosenberg, chief operating officer, Americas.
“Jeffrey is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive operations experience who will bring strong leadership with a focus on delivering impeccable service and performance to our midscale brands,” said Rosenberg. “He will also play a critical role in meeting our ambitious goals for expanding the Country Inns & Suites brand across North America.”
Freund has served Carlson Rezidor in a number of positions throughout his career, including general manager roles in the United States and abroad. In 2005, he was promoted to director of Operations, and has served as vice president, Operations, Owned and Managed Hotels, since 2008.
Freund will assume the role of brand and operational leader in the Americas for Country Inns & Suites By Carlson and Park Inn by Radisson. In this role, Freund will oversee franchise field support, guest satisfaction, brand standards and product and service quality. His key priorities will also include accelerating the growth of Country Inns & Suites and supporting the development of the globally successful Park Inn by Radisson brand in the Americas.
