The Hotel Zamora, St. Pete Beach’s premier waterfront boutique hotel, welcomes hospitality and culinary expert Angela Meeker as Director of Food & Beverage. In her role, Meeker will oversee daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage division, including the Castile Restaurant, just in time for the grand opening of its rooftop lounge.
The Ohio native’s knowledge of restaurant operations, banquet services and employee management stems from more than 10 years of industry experience. Prior to holding a series of managerial positions at top-rated restaurants on Florida’s Gulf coast – including The Canopy, Birch & Vine, Evie’s Tavern and Woody’s River Roo – Meeker owned and operated Entertainment Properties, a Cincinnati-based multi-venue chain of fine and casual dining establishments, nightclubs, sports bars and catering venues where she honed her skills in leadership, vendor communication, employee administrations, and inventory management.
At The Hotel Zamora, Meeker will further develop the property’s award-winning menus across all food & beverage outlets – from the restaurant to event catering, room service and the soon-to-open 360 Rooftop Lounge, where fine Gulf-inspired cuisine will be paired with St. Pete Beach’s best panoramic views.
Meeker says she plans to leverage St. Pete Beach’s laid-back vibe, adding a healthy dose of fresh, Spanish-inspired flair and cuisine, and the best live entertainment and service the area has yet to experience. With a focus on team building, talent development and exceptional customer service, Meeker is positioned to take The Hotel Zamora’s culinary offerings to new heights.
The Hotel Zamora is managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts.
