Carlson Rezidor appoints Roger Chacko as Chief Branding and Marketing Officer

Roger ChackoCarlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced the appointment of Roger Chacko as executive vice president and chief branding and marketing officer reporting to David P. Berg, chief executive officer, Carlson Hospitality Group.

Chacko joined the company in 2014 on an interim basis and is responsible for all aspects of marketing and brand performance worldwide for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and its brands including Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites By Carlson. He also oversees Club Carlson, the company’s loyalty program, market research, brand management, creative services, digital marketing, and partnership marketing.

“We are delighted that Roger has accepted this position,” said Berg. “Since joining the company last December, Roger has built strong relationships and set a solid course to successfully lead all aspects of marketing and brand performance worldwide.”

Chacko is a seasoned marketing, strategy and business intelligence executive with more than 25 years of senior global leadership experience and a strong track record of developing and leveraging consumer, competitive and category intelligence for transformational growth. Prior to Carlson Rezidor, he served as chief strategy officer for Bloomin’ Brands Inc., where he co-developed the company’s international expansion plan, created the analytics function, and set the foundation for new digital marketing capabilities. He has also held senior leadership roles with United Services Automobile Association (USAA), Kimberly-Clark, Mars, Danone, ConAgra and Kellogg’s.
