Jumeirah Group has appointed Russell Durnell as Operations Director at Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London.
Russell joins with a wealth of experience from across the luxury hotel and travel sector. For the past 20 years, he has held pivotal leadership roles at many international hotel brands including Langham Hospitality, W Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Prior to his appointment Russell was General Manager and Chairman of Property Body Corporate at Palazzo Versace, the world’s first fashion branded hotel on the Gold Coast, Australia.
Welcoming Russell to the Jumeirah Carlton Tower team, General Manager, Katie Benson, said: “I am delighted that Russell is returning to the UK to lead operations at the hotel, helping to build on its already impressive credentials and to enhance the guest experience wherever possible.”
