Danny Tse appointed Executive Assistant Manager at InterContinental Hong Kong

Jean-Jacques Reibel, Managing Director of InterContinental Hong Kong, is pleased to announce the promotion of Danny Tse, currently Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms, to Executive Assistant Manager at InterContinental Hong Kong.

Danny brings to his new role at the flagship IHG property a wealth of experience in both Front Office operations, revenue and reservation management.

From November 2009, he served as InterContinental Hong Kong’s Director of Front Office before being promoted to Director of Rooms and consequently in January 2013 to Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms.  Prior to that, he was the hotel’s Revenue Manager from May 2005.

As Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms, he has directed the activities of the Front Office and Room operations to ensure that the hotel’s celebrated Forbes Five Star service standards are achieved, as well as departmental revenue goals.

Tse joined InterContinental Hong Kong in 2005 after spending almost two years at the Pudong Shangri-La Hotel Shanghai where he headed Reservation and Revenue. In 2003 Danny was on the opening team of the Shangri-la Hotel Sydney. Prior to that, he spent several years with the Pudong Shangri-la in Shanghai in a variety of front office and guest relations positions.

In his new role as the hotel’s Executive Assistant Manager he will be overseeing a wide range of hotel operations and departments, working closely with Managing Director Jean-Jacques Reibel.
