Gregory Gubiani to lead Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral

Greg GubianiGregory Gubiani has been appointed as the new leader at the largest Aloft Hotel in the world, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral. Armed with hospitality experience and work knowledge, Gregory will be leading the team to provide a new level of experience to its guests and expand the brand further to the local market.

A French national, Gregory is fluent in French, English, Spanish, Italian and is knowledgeable in German. He graduated from the School of Tourism and Leisure Management in Strasbourg, France.

With a Rooms Division background, Gregory kicked start his career as a resort host in an international five star luxury resort in Maldives and moved on to be a Front Office Manager in another five star resort in French Polynesia.

Gregory moved on to join Starwood Hotels as Front Office Manager at Le Méridien Nouméa, New Caledonia and moved on to The Westin Melbourne, Australia, as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of rooms. Gregory took up a 7-month task force stint as Acting General Manager at The Westin Auckland Lighter Quay, New Zealand. He then to South East Asia in 2011, by stepping into
the Hotel Manager role at Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur before heading off to open Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran, Indonesia as its’ General Manager.

Young and energetic, Gregory is really excited to come back to Kuala Lumpur for the second time and said that Kuala Lumpur Sentral has boomed tremendously in both the business and leisure angles. He is looking forward to achieve cohesiveness and team spirit within the organisation.
