Stefan Mirevski has been appointed the general manager of Embassy Suites Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia, according to Ted Ratcliff, senior vice president operation Eastern U.S. for Hilton Worldwide. Mirevski will oversee day-to-day operations of this 267-all-suite, recently renovated hotel located within walking distance of the Pentagon in the southeastern corner of Arlington County, Virginia, south of downtown Washington, D.C., effective immediately.
Mirevski was most recently director of operations at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner where he directed the activities of all hotel departments as well as assisted in overseeing the hotels $40 million transformation.
Mirevski began his hospitality career in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1996 at Forum Inter-Continental Hotel as banquets assistant. From 1998 to 2000, he worked as front office supervisor at Kapetanios Bay Hotel, an international resort in Protaras, Cyprus. In 2002, Stefan joined the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner team as front desk supervisor, moving up to front desk manager, a position he held until 2005 when he became an assistant director of front office and later director of front office operations at the Capital Hilton in downtown Washington, D.C. He rejoined the Hilton McLean team in 2010 as director of operations.
Mirevski holds a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Hospitality Management from Bournemouth University in Bournemouth, UK. He also holds a degree from College of Tourism and Hotel Management in Nicosia, Cyprus graduating Summa Cum Laude.
