pentahotels appoints André Guettouche as new Vice President Operations

pentahotelsOn January 1, 2015, André Guettouche was appointed as the new Vice President Operations of pentahotels. The international hotel chain sees this move as a promotion of a talent from its own ranks. André Guettouche, who was previously Director of Operations Europe, has been working for the neighbourhood lifestyle brand since October 2006.

“We are extremely happy to have chosen André for the position of Vice President Operations”, said Alastair Thomann, Managing Director of pentahotels. “He is an inspiration and a team-player whom we can depend on. He is also literally our number one employee as André was the first person to sign a contract with pentahotels. His can-do approach has made a substantial contribution to the company’s success.”

Before André Guettouche started his career at pentahotels, he worked for IHG in Germany and Austria, where he held a number of different positions including that of Regional Controller and General Manager.

In his new position the Stuttgart-born manager will be driving the company’s expansion and continuing to build pentahotels’ position as an internationally successful hotel chain.
