Matthew Faull promoted to Senior VP – IT and E-Commerce at Swiss-Belhotel

Leading global hospitality management chain Swiss-Belhotel International has promoted Matthew Faull to Senior Vice President – Information Technology and E-Commerce.

“Matthew has been instrumental in developing our information technology and e-commerce systems and resources, which are critical to the expansion and growth of Swiss-Belhotel International,” Mr. Gavin Faull said. “These business channels will supply over 50% of all business flow to our hotels by 2018.”

With 15 years experience in informational technology and e-commerce, Faull was previously Senior Vice President at ValueCommerce Japan, a Yahoo! company.

He also held senior management positions in information technology and E-commerce in his homeland New Zealand, while his 10-year stint with ValueCommerce included positions in Russia and the Philippines. A graduated of Auckland University in computer science, Matthew Faull joined Swiss-Belhotel International in 2012.

He said it was vital Swiss-Belhotel International to embrace cutting edge technology, developing systems and support mechanisms to meet demand and offer value to customers and partners would would extend its market leading position.

“We recently introduced Protel International Property Management Systems which will enable total integration of property management plus on-line connection to our regional and corporate head offices,” said Mr. Matthew Faull. “This is an example of the importance we place on this crucial area which will continue to define the future of the hospitality industry.”

Swiss-Belhotel International has more than 125 hotels, resorts and projects in its global portfolio. It has a presence in China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
