Barnett Hill appoints Graham Weston new Head Chef

Graham WestonSundial Group’s Surrey based hotel and conference venue, Barnett Hill, is pleased to announce the appointment of new head chef, Graham Weston. Graham has over 20 years of industry experience and joins Barnett Hill from the Holiday Inn Reading hotel.

Having collected nine rosettes over the last six years, he brings with him a wealth of fine-dining experience, having worked in a number of high profile hotels across the UK and Europe.

Graham really started to find his feet as a professional chef whilst he worked for one of the world’s best-known chefs, Albert Roux, for two years at the Cafe Roux in the Grand Hotel Amsterdam. When he returned to the UK in 2002, appointments followed at Tylney Hall (2 rosettes), Oakley Hall (1 rosette) and the Holiday Inn Reading (2 rosettes).

He will now be making his mark at Barnett Hill, heading up a team of five chefs and combining his knowledge with a passion for creating outstanding modern British/European cuisine.

The appointment also comes as Barnett Hill completes the refurbishment of its main dining room which includes new flooring, installation of an integrated hot and cold buffet server unit, new furniture and a complete re-decoration.

Speaking about his new role, Graham said: “Becoming Head Chef at Barnett Hill is a new and exciting chapter for me. I’m really looking forward to carrying on cooking good food and putting smiles on people’s faces.”
