Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail announces the appointment of Deanna Brown as the new Director of Catering and Conference Services.
Brown brings to Four Seasons Resort Vail more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She joins the property’s outstanding Catering & Events Services team, including Geena Urbina, Senior Catering Manager; Rebecca Steffen, Catering and Group Sales Manager; and Lauren Karpiel, Conference Services Manager.
Brown joins Four Seasons Resort Vail after achieving success in numerous positions within the industry, most recently at Grand Hyatt Denver, where she held the director of catering position since 2005. Prior to that, Brown served as the director of catering & convention services at Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort & Spa, opening the resort in 2003, as well as at Hyatt Regency in Cincinnati, Ohio and Bellevue, Washington. Brown’s experience also includes a five-year appointment at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort & Spa, where she held various management roles.
In her new position at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail, Brown will lead day-to-day operations of the Catering & Events Services team, while maintaining a focus on providing clients and guests with the highest level of service and unforgettable experiences they have come to expect from the Resort. Whether planning meetings, conferences, social events or weddings, Brown brings a wide range of experience and expertise in executing both large and small events, which will be a great complement to the team at Four Seasons Resort Vail.
