DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center opens after renovation

DoubleTree Fresno_1Hilton Worldwide and DoubleTree by Hilton have announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center, following a comprehensive $7 million renovation that includes modern design updates to the lobby, guest rooms, fitness center, pool areas and more.

The 321-room hotel is situated directly across from the Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center and near the Tower District, home to restaurants, nightclubs, performing arts venues, galleries and other attractions. The hotel also offers convenient access to Yosemite National Park, Fresno State University and Fresno Yosemite International Airport. DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center is owned by Uniwell Corporation, LLC and managed by Granite Hospitality.

With the completion of its renovation, DoubleTree by Hilton Fresno Convention Center debuts a newly-designed open atrium lobby, paying homage to the Central Valley’s expansive outdoor landscape and treasured national parks and reflecting the rugged beauty of the forests, cliffs and canyons of the nearby Sierra Nevada range. All of the hotel’s guest rooms have also be>en revamped with contemporary furnishings and remodeled bathrooms.

Hotel guests will enjoy a wealth of complimentary amenities, including newly-renovated pool and hot tub areas, renovated 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center and WiFi throughout the hotel’s public spaces and guest rooms.

Several dining options are also available, beginning with the Atrium Lounge, where a striking trellis design and waterfall views create the perfect setting to enjoy a diverse drink menu. The International Café offers a diverse menu to suit any palate, including classic American fare as well as flavors from around the world. Menu highlights include the chef’s signature Baja Fish Tacos and Maple Glazed Stuffed Pork Chop. Guests can jumpstart their day at the hotel’s Java Stop, or enjoy convenient in-room dining. The hotel is also close to restaurants and cafes in nearby downtown Fresno.

For smaller group meetings, the hotel offers the Meetings Simplified by DoubleTree by Hilton package from $39.95 per person, which includes the meeting room, basic meeting WiFi, meeting room supplies including a flipchart, markers, extension and power cord, and all day non-alcoholic beverage service.
