Chef Marco Arlotti joins Four Seasons Doha

Four Seasons Hotel Doha has appointed Chef Marco Arlotti as Chef de Cuisine at the Hotel’s Italian restaurant Il Teatro.  In his new role, Arlotti will oversee all culinary operations for the 124-seat signature restaurant.

“We are excited to welcome Chef Marco to Doha to lead the Il Teatro kitchen team,” says Rami Sayess, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Doha.  “His ability to create traditional Italian dishes with an emphasis on flavour, texture, quality and detail will only heighten the already exquisite culinary experience for our discerning guests. Additionally, nothing could be more perfect for us than having an Italian bring his heritage and passion in the kitchen to lead our Italian restaurant.”

Chef Marco brings more than 14 years of international luxury hospitality experience to Doha. Arlotti joins Four Seasons Hotel Doha most recently from Four Seasons Hotel Milano, where he served as Sous Chef, overseeing two of the Hotel’s signature restaurants – La Veranda and Il Foyer, as well as culinary operations for banquets and room service. During his six-year tenure at Four Seasons Hotel Milano, he was mentored by Italy’s acclaimed Chef Sergio Mei and had the opportunity to further advance his culinary skills and technique under Chef Sergio’s direction. Together with Chef Sergio, Chef Marco had the opportunity to teach Italian cuisine at the prestigious culinary school Le Notre in Paris. Prior to Milan, Chef Marco perfected his culinary skills working in acclaimed restaurants throughout Europe, such as Michelin Star Joël Robuchon in Paris as chef de partie.

“I’m ready to continue my Four Seasons journey and embark on a new adventure in Doha, working alongside with the talented culinary team at the Hotel. I’m also excited to present bold, unexpected flavours and infuse my Italian heritage and signature ingredients into each dish at Il Teatro,” Arlotti says.
