Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced that it will significantly expand its portfolio of Specialty Select brands in New York State in the next three years, with the bulk of that growth taking place in the New York City metropolitan area. Starwood will grow its portfolio in New York from 12 to 22 hotels by the end of 2018 across its Aloft, Element and Four Points brands – an increase of more than 80 percent.
