Hard Rock Hotel Chicago launches digital in-room dining with TuchTablets

Chicago Hard Rock HotelHard Rock Hotel Chicago has announced the addition of TuchTablets to its 381 rooms where guests can place in-room dining orders with the touch of a button. In addition, guests can use the high-resolution digital tablets to order from the property’s restaurants, including the newly opened Jamaican restaurant, Mr. Brown’s Lounge and contemporary American restaurant, Chuck’s: A Kerry Simon Kitchen to enjoy their unique offerings from the comfort of their rooms.

Mr. Brown’s Lounge and Chuck’s: A Kerry Simon Kitchen, both located in the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, now feature food and beverage options available to hotel guests through digital in-room compendiums called TuchTablets. Rather than make a phone call, guests can browse the digital menus featuring up-to-the moment descriptions and photos for an enhanced ordering experience. The tablet also provides content specifically targeted to the hotel guests regarding the local area, attractions and hotel events.

TuchTablet Co-Founders Josh Banayan and Jarrod Carr are passionate about their new partnership with the property and the two restaurants saying, “We believe our product will add a whole new dimension to the customer experience at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago.”

The TuchTablets are not the only newest addition to the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago. In June, the property welcomed the newest location of Mr. Brown’s Lounge, known for its standout jerk chicken and authentic Jamaican cuisine. Executive Chef Chris Douglas, a Jamaican native, brings his culinary style and personality to the authentic Jamaican fare derived from his prized family recipes passed down through several generations. The downtown crowd can now enjoy items like the signature Jamaican Jerk Wings, which are marinated overnight and then slow cooked on a charcoal grill for maximum flavor. Other dishes include the Island Style Mac & Cheese, a secret family recipe that blends Jamaican flavors with an American flare. Additional dishes that combine American and Jamaican style cuisine include the Jerk Caesar Salad and the 8oz. Jerk Seasoned Filet Mignon with Scotch Bonnet Demi Glace.
