Culina, Modern Italian at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is getting a fresh face for summer with the addition of Sommelier Rebekah Turpin, who will be overseeing the wine program at the Cal-Italian restaurant known for its crudo bar and soulful housemade pastas. Turpin, a Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine and a French Wine Scholar, brings more than 10 years of industry experience to the table, and will build upon the foundation of the restaurant’s deep, globally-inspired list of offerings.

“Rebekah’s vast knowledge of the wine industry and enthusiasm for sharing that knowledge with guests through accessible and progressive varietals will be a tremendous asset to both The Bar at Culina and our entire dining program,” says Michael Newcombe, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Turpin joins the restaurant, located in the lobby level of the prestigious Hotel, from the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, where she oversaw the wine program for the luxury property, along with the fine-dining restaurants on-site. Prior to her tenure at the Aviara, she was instrumental in building the wine lists for L’Auberge Del Mar in Del Mar and The Marine Room in La Jolla, bringing a unique perspective from her time on the distributing side of the industry with Southern Wine & Spirits.

While working closely with the food and beverage team at Culina to develop unique ways for guests to experience the vast selection of wines on the menu, whether through wine dinners or tasting events, Turpin will continue working towards her Certified Wine Educator and Advanced Sommelier certifications.
