Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, which has long catered to the motion picture and television industry, has announced the premiere of the Screening Room, which is located adjacent to Culina restaurant.
The boutique theatre will launch officially on June 27, 2016 and can be equipped with 38 plush leather recliner chairs, outfitted with retractable tables and armrests. The Screening Room features a drop-down 14’ by 8’ HD 4k widescreen and DCP-compliant Proscene 1080p, full 3D projector, providing crystal clear, cinema quality images, along with the Klipsch Pro-THX surround system, which will coat the room in rich sound. The highs are crisp and clear, the lows deep and rumbling. The rental for the Screening Room starts at USD 2,500.
“We are excited to create a Screening Room to continue our legacy as ‘Hollywood’s Living Room’ and enhance our guest experience for press film junkets and other corporate events,” says Michael Newcombe, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Italian Chef de Cuisine Denis Dello Stritto from Culina will be creating elevated movie snacks and beverages for the Screening Room, to accompany the chairs’ built in dining trays, including truffle popcorn, french fries, champagne, fresh juices and sweet treats, such as house made churros and pastries. For those seeking a personalised and unique screening, Chef Denis will create customised Cinema Italiana menus with a selection of small plates, including house-fired montanara, savoury bruschetta, prosciutto and formaggi. Guests will also enjoy a curated array of Italian wines from the Vinoteca Wine Bar to complement the cuisine, housemade dolciand Italian espresso.
Events can be extended to the Culina patio, which offers a garden like reception and snack bar area for Screening Room guests. In addition, the entire Culina patio may be reserved in conjunction with the Screening Room for larger events. The team has also developed a creative Director’s Cut enhanced Screening Room package, including a Cinema Italiana dinner menu, flowers by renowned artistic floral director Jeff Leatham, and a red carpet arrival with a step-and-repeat, with the price upon request.
