Hospitality Industry Leader continues to invest in top talent with new Vice President and Regional Director of Sales

Mereté Hotel Management is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Smith as the new Vice President of Operations and Jill Brewster as the newTim Smith Regional Director of Sales. In these pivotal roles, Mr. Smith and Mrs. Brewster will support the continued growth and success of Mereté’s portfolio.

Tim brings to Mereté’ over 25 years’ experience in hotel operations leadership. Throughout his career, Tim has cultivated an understanding of all facets of the industry, from economy brands to luxury full-service and vacation destination resorts. As a member of Mereté’s Executive Team, Tim will play a critical role as Merete expands their management portfolio and continues a long tradition of award-winning hotel operations. Liz Dahlager, Executive Vice President of Mereté, expressed her enthusiasm stating, “Tim is passionate about developing people and growing our businesses. I look forward to Tim’s positive impact on our organization.”

Jill is also an industry veteran with a wealth of experience in hotel sales and marketing with a diverse range of brands including lifestyle, select service, and full service. Jill will be responsible for sales and marketing efforts at seven Mereté managed hotels in Oregon and Washington and will be based in Portland Oregon. Marissa Ruf, Corporate Director of Sales, says,” As a high performer, Jill embraces our culture of passion and excellence for all things hospitality. We are delighted to have her join our sales leadership team.”
