Camelback Resort announces new marketing executive

Camelback Resortmarketing executive, a year-round recreational destination nestled in the Pocono Mountains, has announced a new marketing executive: Theresa Lutz as vice president of marketing.

According to Kit Pappas, managing director of Camelback Resort, Lutz is a marketing industry expert who brings a wealth of expertise to the 560-acre, destination resort. “We are thrilled to have Terri join our team as we strive to elevate the multiple seasonal adventure experiences at our resort – a recreational destination and activity hub which has completed its first phase of a comprehensive transformation,” Pappas said. “Her insight and expertise will be invaluable as we focus on spreading the word about our recent upgrades and the many amazing experiences our resort has to offer.”

In her new position as a marketing executive, Lutz will head up all marketing activities for Camelback Resort – developing and overseeing marketing initiatives including advertising, collateral, social media and public relations. Camelback Resort includes Camelback Mountain for skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing; Camelback Mountain Adventures for ziplining, a treetop obstacle course and alpine mountain coaster; Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark, Pennsylvania’s biggest outdoor waterpark; Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark; and the 453-room Camelback Lodge.

Prior to joining Camelback Resort, Lutz – a seasoned marketing professional was assistant vice president of marketing for Tropicana Atlantic City, where she developed, implemented and managed all marketing departments and initiatives related to the Atlantic City property – including special events, advertising, social media marketing, public relations, entertainment and database marketing. Her professional experience includes work as a commercial manager for Carnival Cruise Line, serving as director of retail marketing for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, and working as director of special events and promotions and regional director of special projects for Resorts Atlantic City in New Jersey.

Lutz attended the business administration program at Stockton State College in New Jersey.
