CanadaStays joins Expedia

After several years of maintaining a successful and prosperous partnership with HomeAway and Vrbo, this week CanadaStayz have officially joined forces, becoming a member of the Vrbo family and Expedia Group.

Mark Bordo, Founder and CEO of CanadaStays released below statement.

“Vrbo is committed to matching families and groups of friends with a home that has just the right amenities, location and price. As part of Vrbo, our owners and property managers will now have exposure to over 750 million visits across Expedia Group sites each month.

With Expedia Group’s reach and resources, Vrbo’s leading marketplace and technology, and our local expertise, we will grow our business in Canada even faster. Joining Expedia Group and Vrbo family is a natural fit for us and one that we are very happy to be a part of.

CanadaStays travellers will benefit from the enhancements Vrbo and Expedia Group can provide, from collaborative trip-planning features to virtual tours, mobile apps for both travellers and owners and chatbots offering real answers to travellers’ questions.

Owners and property managers will gain access to Vrbo’s tools, data and insights that make it easier to effectively manage property listings and optimize their performance on Vrbo sites.

For now, though, it’s business as usual.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished in our 10+ years. This deal is a testament to employees, travellers, owners and property managers, and a major milestone as we begin the next phase of our journey and look to accomplish even greater things together.”
