Virtuoso has recognized its Global Award Winners during Virtuoso Travel Week’s Gala Dinner in Las Vegas, identifying outstanding advisors and agencies across the globe, including those in the Asia Pacific region.

The event, held at Bellagio Resort & Casino on 15 August celebrated the end of the famed 31st annual Virtuoso gathering, where the industry’s finest travel advisors and partners meet for a staggering 380,000 appointments resulting in an estimated USD$420 million in business.

Voted on by Virtuoso partners, the Awards recognize the Most Engaged & Hospitable Agencies,  Virtuoso Rising Star and Most Innovative Advisor in our region.

Kennedy & Turner’s Jo Kennedy has been awarded the Most Innovative Advisor Asia/Pacific, recognising her commitment to staying ahead of the client in defining trends, while James King from Bayview Travel has received the Virtuoso Rising Star award for the Asia/Pacific region for exhibiting exceptional promise and reaching a high level of professionalism.

Virtuoso Asia Pacific Managing Director Michael Londregan said the winners were exceptional achievers within Virtuoso’s group of outstanding advisors.

“Staying relevant and motivating talent are key challenges for our industry and our Virtuoso members are constantly engaged in professional development, including webinars and courses through our online Virtuoso Travel Academy,” Londregan said.

“They are recognized as being the best in their profession, but just like elite athletes, they are always striving to improve their knowledge, connections, and service. This acknowledgment of Jo and James focuses on key areas of excellence, innovation, and emerging talent and we are delighted to have such wonderful role models to inspire our network.”

Earlier this year, Melbourne’s FBI Travel was awarded Virtuoso’s Most Engaged & Hospitable Agency Australia/New Zealand, while Hong Kong-based Charlotte Travel has been named Most Engaged & Hospitable Agency Asia.  They were recognized in front of  Virtuoso’s global network at the Gala Dinner.

“Virtuoso partners continually invest in our network and these special awards recognize our agency members who demonstrate excellence in a commitment by leaning into the process.

Our members understand that travel is a team sport and this award has been given for the ‘best and fairest’.”
