Darika Hom-uem appointed as Cluster Director of Spa and Wellness at Six Senses La Sagesse Grenada

Six Senses La Sagesse and InterContinental Grenada Resort & Spa announce the appointment of Darika Hom-uem as Cluster Director of Spa and Wellness, overseeing the wellness vision and spa operations across both properties. With more than 20 years of experience leading luxury spa and wellness programs, Darika brings a philosophy rooted in holistic healing, integrative wellbeing, and transformative guest experiences, a background aligned with the values of both resorts and with Grenada’s own spirit of renewal.

In her new role, Hom-uem will guide wellness strategy across Six Senses La Sagesse, which debuted in 2024, and InterContinental Grenada Resort & Spa, scheduled to open in November 2026. She will develop a robust portfolio of programs including signature spa experiences, integrated wellness programming, visiting practitioner offerings, fitness and longevity initiatives, and locally inspired rituals that reflect Grenada’s culture and biodiversity.

Darika Hom-uem joins the Grenada resorts from Six Senses Con Dao in Vietnam, where she served as Director of Spa and Wellness,leading personalized wellness experiences that integrated diagnostics, movement, nutrition, mindfulness, and local healing traditions.

Her career spans leading luxury resorts across Asia and the Middle East, including The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah Al Wadi Desert, Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas, InterContinental Phuket Resort, Fairmont Amman and more. She also held a regional leadership role with Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific, overseeing spa and wellness strategy across Fiji, Mauritius, Thailand, and the Maldives. With extensive pre-opening and multi-property experience, Darika has developed award-winning spa and wellness programs recognized by the Fact Magazine Spa and Wellness Awards, HAPA, and World Luxury Spa Awards.
