Shilla Monogram Danang has announced its grand opening to be held in the first quarter of 2020.
Established under the newly launched Shilla Monogram brand by The Shilla Hotels & Resorts group, the maiden flagship project is the group’s first foray outside of Korea, held in collaboration between The Shilla and TCG Land in Vietnam. Set atop the tranquil sandy beachfront between Danang city and the UNESCO World Heritage town of Hoi An, the resort is a convenient 20-minute drive from both sites.
Shilla Monogram Danang boasts 309 rooms including 42 superior rooms, 238 deluxe rooms, 20 suite rooms, 8 residences and 1 Monogram villa. The new property will be helmed by General Manager Marc Emmanuel. Marc is based in Danang and oversees the operation and management of this strategic property. Originally from France, Marc has a strong background in hotel management, possessing more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry with international hotel chains, like Hyatt, AccorHotels and Pan Pacific. He held a number of senior management positions across different countries, ranging from Director of Revenue Management, Director of Rooms, and Executive Assistant Manager to Hotel Manager and General Manager at various luxury properties in Europe, North Africa, and Southeast Asia.
