Grand Residences Riviera Cancun, an all-suite beachfront resort and member of The Leading Hotels of the World, announces the appointment of Hector Renteria Guzman as the resort’s new Executive Chef.
Guzman brings his vast knowledge of providing exemplary cuisine to guests within the hospitality industry to his new position at Grand Residences.
“Guzman’s understanding of both local and global ingredients and how they best pair in creating the perfect dish will work to further enhance the culinary experience for our guests,” said Daniela Trava Albarran, General Manager at Grand Residences Riviera Cancun. “We are thrilled to have Chef Guzman join our team to showcase his extensive knowledge of providing an unforgettable dining experience for guests to enjoy. Having worked within the hospitality industry across Mexico and internationally for more than a decade, Guzman has fine-tuned the art of developing and executing delectable dishes. His creative approach combines a range of ingredients, including locally sourced, commonly used and unique flavors, with various French, Mexican and more cooking techniques to present memorable meals. In his new role, Chef Guzman will oversee the resort’s three onsite restaurants and assist in further elevating the unique culinary experiences available at Grand Residences (i.e., Chef in Suite private service, locally and internationally themed menus, etc.).
