Forbes Travel Guide (“FTG”), the global expert on genuine Five-Star service, announced the appointment of Mark Simmons to the role of Senior Vice President, Partner Services — Asia Pacific, to lead its operations in the region.
Based in Hong Kong and Singapore, Simmons is responsible for driving Forbes Travel Guide’s strategic objectives within Asia Pacific, which include developing the company’s support services clientele. Forbes Travel Guide is the only independent, global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants and spas. The company also offers tailored in-person and online training solutions, expert quality assessments, and custom standards development to its luxury hospitality portfolio and other businesses that prioritize service excellence.

A British and Australian national, Simmons is a well-established sales and marketing professional, with more than 25 years of luxury hospitality experience. He has held senior-level positions for leading hospitality brands in Asia, the Middle East, and the Pacific and his previous roles include: Director of Sales, Accor Asia Pacific; Area Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Preferred Hotel Group; Vice President Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts; and Area Sales and Marketing Head of Swiss-Belhotel International Asia.
Simmons also was previously Owner and Director of Delivering Asia and a member of The Delivering Group, with a client base including Jumeirah Group, Six Senses, Anantara Hotels & Resorts, The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts and The Sukhothai Bangkok.
