For a second consecutive year, third-party hotel management company Hospitality America has earned the “Top Workplaces 2025” award, co-sponsored by USA Today and Energage™. The program celebrates organizations with 150 or more employees that have built great cultures. In the words of company employees, it’s Hospitality America’s “Engagement,” “Alignment,” “Performance,” “Connection,” and “Coaching,” that earned it this coveted accomplishment.
“The Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for Hospitality America, because it reflects the authentic experiences of our team,” said Ben Campbell, President and CEO. “We are deeply humbled by this recognition. Over the years, we’ve learned that attracting and retaining top talent starts with creating a culture where every voice is heard. We asked candid questions, and our people answered from the heart- what they shared drives us to be a better workplace.”

Predicting Positive Outcomes
To better understand its people and give property managers the tools they need to engage more effectively with associates, Hospitality America partnered with Optimus Talent to conduct ongoing Predictive Index assessments. This helps property managers better understand their associates and engage with them more effectively. The goal is to align job expectations with company culture, improve team communication, and enhance team dynamics. It also helps assign tasks, promote collaboration, and resolve conflicts. Additionally, the assessments identify top talent, provide career insights, and highlight strengths and blind spots that can impact job growth. Armed with this intelligence, corporate leaders can better understand how engagement with associates impacts performance.
“People do their best work when they get to use their strengths and when positive, healthy relationships exist between employees and their direct supervisors and colleagues,” Campbell said. “Through a unique blend of scientific assessments and software, along with top-notch training and consulting from Optimus Talent, we are giving our people the tools they need to drive toward desired performance results. This talent strategy makes us able to maintain an effective, intentional work environment where our people’s needs are met. As a result, our performance and engagement scores are soaring.”
Campbell said earning the Top Workplaces 2025 award speaks volumes about creating the right culture and ensuring that everyone across the company buys into the culture and the values set by leadership.
“Our employees are having a positive, direct impact on everything we do at Hospitality America,” Campbell said. “Perhaps this associate said it best: ‘I love my job because I get to do what I do best everyday while learning how to be better tomorrow. I am surrounded by like-minded people with whom I align on core values. We work hard together and enjoy success together. We share a pursuit of excellence and shared goals, while maintaining great respect for one another’s individuality.’”
